Description of the 4606 Level 3 Cross Cut Shredder
The Destroyit 4606 cross cut level 3 high capacity shredder offers impressive shredding capabilities. This shredder features a top-loading feed hopper that's large enough to handle bulkier materials such as bound documents and crumpled paper that you find in wastebaskets. Its equipped with a special rotating feed paddle which assists in feeding bulky materials as they come in contact with the cutting head. For standard, flat paper feeding, a normal feed opening is available, equipped with photo cells to automatically start/stop operation. Powerful and effective, the Destroyit 4606 level 3 shreds your materials into 1/4" x 2" inch particles. On whole, the Destroyit 4606 handles approximately up to 60 sheets at a time, and shreds at a rate of 40 feet per minute. The 4606 is controlled by a multifunction Easy-Switch that shows operational status of the shredder using color-coded, back-lit symbols.
The high-quality steel cutting shafts are soft metal resistant, and are capable of shredding your bulky and heavy-duty materials without breaking. An automatic electronic oil injection system keeps the cutting shafts properly lubricated and ensures a consistent high shred performance.
