Granutec TFG 2030 Central Granulator (2000 Series): Part of TFG 2000 series, TFG 2030 is a central granulator ideal for large injection or blow-molded parts. 2000 and 2500 series from Granutec is specially designed with large feed throat openings. 2030 has smallest throat size of 20" x30" . Its heavy duty construction consists of a welded steel rotor, cutting chamber, and screen cradle. In cutting chamber, rotor's downstroke pulls material downwards, reducing flyback and bouncing feedstock. A rugged outboard pillow block bearing prevents and eliminates contamination of plastic material. With double-scissor cutting action, high shear mount rotor knives are counter-angled to reversible bed knives for uniform cutting. Material runs along entire length of rotor knife, decreasing both cutting impact sound. Electrical-mechanical power actuators open and close front-feed hopper and screen cradle for easy access to cutting chamber, knives, and screens, making service and maintenance a breeze. A time delay safety mechanism comes standard, along with an emergency stop button for immediate shutdown.
