Cumberland's Beside-The-Press Granulators are designed for regrind of reject components from injection molding, blow molding and extrusion processes. Versatile and compact, the beside-the-press models can be used for robot, hand or conveyor feed applications. Your materials can be quickly selected from the press and deposited into the granulator for immediate processing. The three-knife, open rotor design features scooped wings and slant-cut knives combined with counter-slanted stationary knives. This construction guarantees true "scissor" cutting action to break down even the toughest molding materials. While many of these models feature a drop-down removable screen cradle, the S Series is actually screenless, eliminating the need to replace worn out screens. Durable, swivel casters make moving and relocating these monstrous machines a bit easier.
